Associations organising international meetings are invited to attend our unique networking and educational event and meet with hundreds of like-minded association colleagues from around the world.

Held one day prior to the show, Association Day is one of the big successes of IMEX. Every year over 250 association professionals, from 30 countries attend Association Day. Drawn by the stimulating mix of themed sessions, round-table discussions on relevant issues and the chance to meet old and new contacts in a great atmosphere; they gather together at our dedicated all-day forum that culminates in an evening networking event with top exhibitors.

Who can Attend?
- The Association Day educational programme is open to association executives only
- Applicants MUST organise, influence or make budgetary decisions for international meetings, conventions or events
- Applicants should be able to supply examples of recent international meetings they have placed
- Association management companies or core PCOs are welcome to attend on behalf of, or with a client. They should supply the name of the association they will be representing on the day in order to qualify.

How to Attend
Buyers are invited to attend either as part of the hosted buyer programme or independently as trade visitors. Entry to the Association Day & Evening programme is by registration only. Registration is free of charge.
Hosted buyer programme: Association executives who organise meetings internationally may qualify for the hosted buyer programme and attend IMEX as guests of the organisers. To find out more about the hosted buyer programme and whether you qualify click here
Visitors: Association executives who wish to attend Association Day as visitors are welcome to do so. Visitors must register separately for Association Day.

Association Evening Function
The evening function takes in Frankfurt from 19:30 on Monday 24 May.
The evening function is open to exhibitors who are members of one of the organising associations (ICCA, AIPC, IAEE, DMAI, IAPCO, ASAE and the Center of Association Leadership, ESAE) and association executives. Due to the popularity of the event, a maximum of two people per company may register. Registration is free of charge and will be available through the associations from March 2010.
