The Inspiration Centre showcases the best education and training for the meetings industry, right on the show floor. With our partners, the Convention Industry Council (CIC) it is an educational venue for the advancement of career skills for those already in the meetings industry.

Research Pod

This year IMEX devotes an area of the Inspiration Centre to a new Research Pod where in-depth discussions about industry research will take place twice daily. These sessions will be dedicated to new and insightful research presentations from industry gurus. The format will be very small select groups of no more than 10 people per session.

Lightning Learning Labs & Campfires

‘Lightning Learning Lab’ sessions on the Inspiration Center are tailored especially for exhibitors. Each session lasts for approximately 20 minutes to allow exhibitors to take advantage of valuable education in between appointments on the show floor.

Campfires are informal educational sessions for small groups of up to 12 people. The group sat in a small circle to encourage interaction and the sessions were facilitated by an industry professional. The campfires covered a variety of topics including PR, social media, interview techniques, personality type theories, meeting design and winning bids.

This year we have three separate areas on the stand, for our Lightning Learning Labs & Campfires.

Seminars

Visitors will also be able to view all the educational opportunities available to the meetings industry in one place at the Inspiration Center. Industry gurus will be on hand to offer their expertise and advice in one to one sessions and group seminars, giving delegates the chance to discuss how to drive their business forward.

Have a Ball

Try a new way of learning. Join our 'Have a Ball' session on Tuesday 21 May at 1pm.

In this session you will practice creative techniques through quick exercises. They will show you that creativity works better by giving participants in creative sessions a framework And of course you will find out what Timranarsob means!
