The 2011 IMEX-MPI Future Leaders Forum at IT&CM, held for the third time in Shanghai took place on 13-15 April 2011. Attracting 50 students from the Shanghai Normal University and the Shanghai Institute of Foreign Trade. In addition, the Forum welcomed for the second year, 10 students from Jeju University in South Korea.
Speakers at the Forum included the newly elected ICCA President - Arnaldo Nardone, Noor Ahmad Hamid - Regional Director for ICCA Asia Pacific, Dr Yvonne Hu – Manager Conference Interpreter Services, Tour Hosts Pty, Australia and Liu Ping – CEO China Star professional Services. Also assisting with the Forum was Su Cheng Harris-Simpson – recently appointed Director of Development MPI. Particular thanks for their considerable contribution to the Forum must go to Professor Helmut Schwaegermann, Programme Director IEMS Shanghai and Professor Lan Xing, IEMS Shanghai.
